Jason previously worked as Deputy Director of Economic & Urban Development for the City of Las Vegas. He was responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Department by working with the Director and City Manager’s Office to establish and implement long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. He oversaw the four divisions of the department that include parking, business development, redevelopment and asset management.
Prior to joining the City of Las Vegas, Jason spent eight years as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations for Focus Property Group, where he was responsible for maximizing operating performance and achieving financial goals for three separate divisions of the company, including residential master planned development, senior housing and medical marijuana.
During his tenure at Focus Property Group, Jason oversaw the development of Mountain’s Edge and Providence, two of the top ten selling master-planned communities in the country. He also managed Focus’ senior housing portfolio and spearheaded the company’s local and state MME applications that resulted in the award of four separate licenses. Each of the four applications were ranked in the top ten of each respective category per the state’s grading matrix.
Prior to joining Focus Property Group, Jason spent three years as the Vice President of Asset Management for Tower Realty & Development, LLC, a Las Vegas based commercial real estate development company. In this position, he was responsible for all areas of the company’s real estate development activities, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing and property management.
Jason is a former member of the Clark County Planning Commission, is involved in the UNLV MBA Alumni Association and is a former board member of Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Jason is the proud father of two boys, Cole and Gavin. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his sons’ sports teams, reading and playing golf and tennis.
